Infantile Esotropia BOSU study

Don’t forget that the BOSU study on infantile esotropia new cases is still running until November, so please add any new cases you see. Full details and contacts see the screen grab of the group’s Powerpoint below.

Please circulate and promote as widely as you can, including non-BIOS members/departments.

 

Children need to have been seen between October 2017 to November 2018 with :-

A constant, non-accommodative esotropia, greater than or equal to 20 prism dioptres with an onset less than 12 months old in a neurologically normal child with no ocular abnormalities.

* new cases only

* esotropia has to be confirmed by an orthoptist or ophthalmologist when child is < 12 m old
